Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

TPS lets people from certain countries affected by war or natural disaster live and work in the United States temporarily. Since 2025, the government has ended TPS for many countries, including Honduras, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Haiti, and the future of TPS for El Salvador is uncertain. Many of these decisions are being challenged in court, and the situation can change quickly.

If you have TPS, or had it, don’t wait to find out what happens next. Some TPS holders qualify for another option they never explored, such as a green card through a family member, asylum, or a U visa. We help TPS holders keep their status for as long as it lasts and look for a lasting way to stay.
