Family & green cards

Family-Based Immigration

Keeping families together is the heart of our practice. If you are a U.S. citizen, we can help you petition for your spouse or your children, and, if you are at least 21, your parents or your brothers and sisters. If you are a permanent resident (a green card holder), we can help you petition for your spouse and your unmarried children.

Every family’s case is different. Wait times depend on the relationship and the country, and some relatives can finish the process inside the United States while others must attend an interview at a U.S. consulate abroad. The government now treats green cards granted inside the U.S. as a matter of discretion and is asking for more evidence and more interviews. We look at your whole history before anything is filed, so there are no surprises later.
